Miguel Sierralta, Venezolano de nacimiento, desde hace mas de 20 años ha venido trabajando incansablemente en el mundo del espectáculo y del entretenimiento logrando cosechar éxitos en diversos campos desde el intrincado mundo de los medios de comunicación, hasta la creación de nuevos artistas, la producción de grandes eventos musicales y producciones televisivas y cinematográficas.
Su gran talento para concebir ideas geniales y convertirlas en grandes éxitos son el sello que lo ha identificado durante estos largos años de carrera.
Ha sido manager de artistas de la talla de Bertin Osborne, Paulina Rubio, Chabeli Iglesias, Angela Carrasco, Los Chamos, y Ricardo Cocciante, este último fue quien lo impulso a convertirse en productor musical. Ha producido también discos y video Clips para artistas como Ángela Carrasco, Seline, Ricardo Cocciante, Bertin Osborne y Paulina Rubio, El Puma, Siudy, Los Hidalgo, Los Chamos, Pedro Fernandez entre otros.
A mediados de los 90’s, y después de haber cumplido sus metas en Venezuela, donde produjo los espectáculos de artistas de la talla de Franco De Vita, Chayanne, Roberto Carlos, Placido Domingo, Los Bee Gees, Ricky Martin, Ex Menudos entre otros , además de producir la revista, programa de radio y televisión “Show Bussiness”, decide mudarse a la ciudad de Miami donde al cabo de unos meses su programa de televisión Show Business empezó a tomar vuelo y se convirtió en uno de los programas de entretenimiento más vistos alrededor del mundo hispano, con emisiones en México, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, República Dominicana, España y muchos otros países.
De esta experiencia salieron programas también muy destacados como Salsa Review, Inocente-Inocente, Showmania, Movie Line, Video Hit y TV Time. Ha co-producido los programas: Música Si, con Televisión Española, Mujer 10, con Antena 3- España.
En el 2007 produce el documental ”El Primer Playboy”, una novela del mismo nombre escrito por Jaime Royo Villanova y escribe una biografía, sobre el famoso Playboy Dominicano Porfirio Rubirosa .
En el 2008 produce el Documental-Film más exitoso y visto en la historia del cine colombiano “Pablo Escobar- Ángel o Demonio” que lo lleva a recorrer los festivales de Cine de Cannes, Montecarlo, Bogota, Cancun, Ibiza, Cartagena entre otros.
Actualmente se encuentra preparando la película “The Last Playboy” basada en la vida de Porfirio Rubirosa en asociación con Antonio Banderas y su productora “GreenMoon”.
En el 2009 se encuentra preparando un seriado en coproducción con RCN Televisión y una película sobre el controversial libro “Las Prepago” basado en la historia de Madame Rochy con el guion del reconocido escritor, Jorg Hiller. Como planes para el 2010 prepara el documental “Glamour Peligroso” basado en la doble vida de Baruch Vega, el famoso fotógrafo de moda agente encubierto de la DEA.
Por otro lado, este gran empresario en el área digital , viene desarrollando hace dos anos la producción para Warner Music Latino “Bombones” y actualmente ha desarrollado su propia marca “Latin Angels” que consiste en la producción de fotografías y videos de las actrices, modelos y presentadoras más exitosas de hispano America sincronizados con música producida por Sierralta Entertainment para su distribución mundial a través de portales web, telefonía, aplicaciones, DVDs y calendarios. Y la realización de un reality show y un programa de Televisión y un espectáculo en vivo bajo su marca “Latin Angels”.
Así mismo su empresa Sierralta Entertainment Group ha abierto un departamento de management de actrices, presentadores, cantantes, directores y escritores con oficinas en Colombia, España, Mexico y Miami. Entre Los representados actualmente están: Katherine Porto, Carla Giraldo, Sara Corrales, Los Hidalgo, Alejandra Pinzon, Mery de los Rios, Scarlett Fernandez, El Chamo Gabriel, Siudy Garrido, Bertin Osborne, Maria Elisa Camargo, El Puma, Los Chamos, Waldemaro Martinez.

MIGUEL SIERRALTA
For more than 20 years, producer and entrepreneur Miguel Sierralta has been working with great success in the fields of television, music, and entertainment; where he has discover, manage and produced new artists; as well as creating, acquiring, developing, producing and distributing original content such as television shows, documentaries, series, scripts and formats.
His greatest talent is to be able to come up with creative ideas and original concepts and bringing most of them to a final and successful realization.
He has managed the careers of best selling Recording Artists such as Spanish top star Bertin Osborne, Latin pop superstar Paulina Rubio, accomplish Dominican born singer Angela Carrasco, Venezuelan boy band “Los Chamos”, international Italian composer and singer Ricardo Cocciante, and worldwide celebrity Chabeli Iglesias.
As a Record and Video-Clips Producer he has been involved and produced albums for Ángela Carrasco, Seline, Ricardo Cocciante, Bertin Osborne, Paulina Rubio, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Siudy Garrido, Los Hidalgo, Los Chamos, Pedro Fernandez, Niurka Marcos, and Maria Conchita Alonso, among others.
In the 90’s, Miguel Sierralta started his successful career as a Concert Promoter and Magazine Publisher in his native country Venezuela, where he produced shows and national tours for top recording singers and bands such as Franco De Vita, Chayanne, Roberto Carlos, Placido Domingo, The Bee Gees, Ricky Martin, and Ex Menudos, among many others. He also launched the entertainment monthly magazine “Show Business” which became in time one of his most popular and successful brands.
Looking for new opportunities and with a vision to expand his “Show Business” brand, he decides to move to the city of Miami where a few months later his television show started production. “Show Business” became in the late 90’s one of the most televised Hispanic TV magazine show in the world. In countries like México, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Spain among others, the popularity and success of the program was undeniable.
During this period and as a result of this experience, Miguel Sierralta expanded his production company creating and producing new brands, programs and formats. A whole new catalogue of shows was developed and distributed worldwide. Among them “Salsa Review”, “TV Time”, “Movie Line”, “Video Hits”.
The new millennium brought many changes and new opportunities. Sierralta started co-producing with important networks and production houses in Spain. With “Television Española” (TVE) created the Latin American version of one of their top shows “Música Si”; with “Antena-3” co-developed the entertainment news magazine “Showmania TV” based on the website also created by Sierralta. With “Zeppelin” one of the most important production companies in Spain, co-produced two of their highest rated shows at that moment: “Mujer 10” and “Inocente-Inocente America”.
In 2005 a 1-hour series of “Specials” dedicated to the top Latin music stars was launched with extraordinary success. The lives of Marc Anthony, David Bisbal, Celia Cruz, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Sanz, Julio Iglesias, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Jenniffer Lopez and many others were portrayed in this biographical series.
That same year, Miguel Sierralta started working on the idea surrounding the legend of “Porfirio Rubirosa”, the Dominican diplomat and jet set celebrity also known as one of the first “playboys” of the world. In 2007 produced the documentary ”El Primer Playboy” (“The First Playboy”), published a novel with the same name written by Spanish author Jaime Royo Villanova, and “Porfirio Rubirosa, El Primer Playboy” a biography written by Sierralta in collaboration with Ruben Ferrer Rubio. Currently he is working on the Feature Film “The Last Playboy”, based in the life of Rubirosa, and in association with Antonio Banderas Company “Green Moon”.
In 2006 created the first online Latin music store “Elatinmusic.com”, that developed the hardware and software necessary to make easy to buy and download Latin music of all genres from a unique website. Two years after launching the site, was acquired by the “Batanga.com” group to be transformed in their “Batanga Online Music Store”.
During this period, as the CEO of “Elatinmusic.com”, he executive produced the music TV magazine series “Elatinmusic TV” and “Elatinmusic TV Venezuela” that aired in Venezuela and USA during four continuous seasons. Also created, develop and co-produced with Warner Music Latino the Digital Content series “Bombones”, an original concept that merged mobile downloads, website, music promotion and digital calendars. “Bombones” can be seen on the “Mobitv” platform and in the WML “You Tube” Channel.
A new Film-Documentary project was released by “Sierralta Entertainment” in 2008 co-produced by Miguel Sierralta and Jorge Granier: “Pablo: Angel o Demonio” (“Pablo: Angel or Demon”) based on the life of notorious Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. This documentary, narrated by 2011 “Golden Globe” and “Emmy” Nominee Edgar Ramirez, was one of the official selection of International Film Festivals in Cannes, Monte Carlo, Bogotá, Cancun, Ibiza and Cartagena. Also, “Pablo: Angel or Demon” has the record as the “most seen” documentary in movie theatres in Colombia.
In 2009 Sierralta acquired the rights to develop two new projects: an original TV Series in association with Colombian RCN Televisión Network and a Film-Documentary. The first one is based on the controversial book that shock Colombia “Las Prepago” (“The Prepaid Girls”) about the story of “Madame Rochy”. Famous screenwriter Jorge Hiller is writing scripts. The second project is the Film-Documentary “Glamour Peligroso” (“Dangerous Glamour”) based on the life of world famous fashion photographer Baruch Vega, and how he infiltrated the Colombian Drug Mafias as an undercover DEA agent. Both projects are scheduled to be released in 2012.
Based on the successful experience with his format “Bombones”, this same year he started working on his own project acertadamente called “Latin Angels”. A 360 degrees concept that included a Television Show, Mobil Downloads, Website, Calendars, Merchandising, Live Shows and a TV Reality-Show. The “Latin Angels” brand feature the most beautiful and sexy Latin models, famous TV and movie actresses, and top celebrities in the planet. “Latin Angels TV” will debut on DirecTV Worldwide in Fall 2011.
As an Executive Producer, Miguel Sierralta joined forces in 2010 with international group “Plural” to develop the “reality” show based on this new brand. The result is “Angels@Miami” currently in the production stages and set to debut on “E!” Latin America early October of 2011. In this reality, Miguel will not only be behind the cameras but will also be an important talent on camera as the Entrepreneur that will change the lives of five sexy and controversial beauties.
This same year Miguel Sierralta created “Show Business TV”, a new, refreshed, young, and modern version of his most successful format. The show was on “Sur” network for its two first seasons; and a newer and improved version started its 3rd. Season in 2011 on MegaTV network that is currently on the air every week with great results in the US Hispanic and Puerto Rico markets. A customized version are in the works for Spain and Venezuela markets and an important distribution deal is going to be announced shortly to get the show to more territories and markets via canned shows or format customazitation.
With offices in Colombia, Spain, Mexico and Miami. the “Artist Management” branch of his business has managed actresses, singers, TV hosts and writers from most of the Latin American countries.
Through “Sierralta Entertainment Group” and his other companies, Miguel Sierralta has built an entertainment empire with hard work and clear vision. Adapting to the constant changes in technology and trends, the company is involved in music production, television, artist management, and film production among others. He is well regarded by his peers in the entertainment industry and is one of the most influential, audacious and creative Hispanics in the business.
